Our Product

Cyan is a fabless semiconductor company that specialises in the development of applications under the brand “Cy-Solved”, built upon the company’s feature rich, configurable eCOG1k and eCOG1x microcontroller chips. Cy-Solved incorporates ready to go solutions, applications examples, modular software based on easy to use interfaces and dedicated evaluation boards. All these are pulled together with Cyan’s free integrated development environment CyanIDE. A key facet of Cy-Solved is the development of relationships with technology partners who can offer for example complementary silicon or production ready hardware modules.

Currently available Cy-Solved applications include RF-Solved, USB- Solved, Ethernet-Solved and Motor Control-Solved which can be incorporated into systems for remote data telemetry systems, handheld instrumentation, white goods, industrial control, EPOS and data recorders as well as integrated communications in security systems and other intelligent sensors or peripherals.
Potential applications for microcontrollers are virtually limitless and growing all the time.

Our Proposition

Cy-Solved can be incorporated as-is into an application but also supports an ability to be easily customised - either way, giving users a head start on the road to market. Cyan also helps its customers to be more profitable, shrinking end product costs by replacing extra cost components with on-chip equivalents.

Cyan avoids competing at the component level by placing the value added into the software. This enables a powerful differentiation over better known brands and the ability to maintain margins.
